Online Rent Policy
- When you have decided on the storage rental size that best fits your needs, you may rent a Fort Locks unit online. Fill out the required information and you will be charged a prorated rent for the current month plus a $20 setup fee. The charge will be credited towards your account. If you cancel, the charge will be forfeited.
- YOU CANNOT RENT A UNIT MORE THAN 10-DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE ACTUAL MOVE IN DATE, AND MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN THAT TIME FRAME BY STOPPING IN THE OFFICE DURING BUSINESS HOURS TO SIGN THE LEASE. IF NOT COMPLETED WITHIN THIS TIME FRAME, THE UNIT WILL BE CANCELLED AND PAYMENT FORFEITED. If the payment is not paid or payment is declined, your unit will not retained and may be rented to another person.
- For the summer (April through August) there may be a minimum of a (5) month prepaid term required on 5x5x4 Lockers, 5x5CC, 5x10 & 5x10 CC. This policy may also be implemented if we have minimum availability of any size.
- Fort Locks has a $20.00 set up fee per unit that will be charged at move in. This includes the use of our patented Bezel Locking System that gives our tenants a double layer of security.
- We will retain a copy of photo ID (preferably a driver’s license) and credit card on file as a security deposit. The lease will be in the name of the one whose credit is provided.
- Fort Locks offers a 10% discount on any prepaid amounts of 6-months or more. Please call the office for details.
